MS. JORDAN - SCHOOL COUNSELOR
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MS. JORDAN
The 2020-2021 school year marks my twenty-second year as an educator at Hannan Elementary Magnet Academy. I started my career November 11, 1998 as the Physical Education Teacher and I completely enjoyed teaching Physical Education. However, I decided to pursue a different career path. I was very fortunate to be hired as the School Counselor for the 2005-2006 school year and continue serving students in this capacity.
My education journey started by receiving an Associate in Science degree from Southern Union State Community College. My journey continued at Auburn University earning a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education degree Summer 1998. War Eagle! After taking a very short break, I started graduate school at Troy University earning a Master of Science in School Counseling degree as well as an Education Specialist in School Counseling.
It brings me great joy to work with the best students, parents, teachers, staff and administration. I look forward to another great school year as your School Counselor.
