AUGUST: TOLERANCE--Consideration and respect for the individual differences, views, and beliefs of other people
Week 1--Acceptance--We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same boat now.
Week 2--Forgiveness--Let go of the past and the past will let go of you.
Week 3--Considerate--A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.
Week 4--Open-mindedness--A mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size.
SEPTEMBER: RESPECT--Showing regard for the worth of self, others, or something
Week 5--Respect for Self--Why fit in when you were born to stand out?
Week 6--Respect for Others--Respect for ourselves guides our behavior, respect for others guides our manners.
Week 7--Respect for Authority--One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to Say.
Week 8--Respect for Learning--Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
OCTOBER: EMPATHY--The ability to be aware of, perceive, understand, and be sensitive to the feelings, thoughts, and experiences of another
Week 9--Empathy--Try to be a rainbow in someone else's cloud.
Week 10--Compassion--No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.
Week 11--Caring--Never look down on anybody unless you're helping them up.
Week 12--Understanding--What we learn becomes a part of who we are.
NOVEMBER: CITIZENSHIP--The way you act as a responsible member of the community
Week 13--Patriotism--Alone we can do so little, together we can do much.
Week 14--Service to Others--We rise by lifting each other.
Week 15--Honor--May we think of freedom, not as the right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right.
DECEMBER: DILIGENCE--Working hard in a steady and continuous manner; industrious; Sticking with a project or plan
Week 16--Grit--Do not let what you cannot do, stop what can do.
Week 17--Perseverance--No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
Week 18--Resiliency--Mistakes are proof that you are trying
JANUARY: KINDNESS--Being gentle, willing to help, friendly, courteous, and considerate
Week 19--Polite--It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
Week 20--Generosity--If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.
Week 21--Courtesy/Civility--Treat others the way you want to be treated.
FEBRUARY: INTEGRITY--Steadfast adherence to a strict code of moral, ethical, or artistic values; to consistently be truthful, sincere, and fair; keeping one's word
Week 22--Honesty--Doing what's right even when it is hard.
Week 23--Trustworthiness--Trust starts with truth and ends with truth.
Week 24--Self-Control--Your attitude determines your direction.
Week 25--Justice/Fairness--Remember, you are always responsible for how you act regardless of how you feel.
MARCH: FORGIVENESS--Excusing or pardoning a mistake or offense; letting go of blame
Week 26--Acceptance--You are amazing just the way you are.
Week 27--Excuse--Don't make excuses, make improvements.
Week 28--Amends--No one is perfect, that's why pencils have erasers.
APRIL: POSITIVE ATTITUDE--Being optimistic about situations, interactions, and yourself. People with positive attitude can remain hopeful and see the best even in difficult situations.
